Jeri Lynn Ing is a contemporary artist living and working in Central Alberta. Jeri Lynn received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada and has practiced her art for the past 18 years in Red Deer, Alberta. Jeri Lynn has owned and operated Gallery Is in Red Deer since 2006 and most recently has adapted the space to include her working studio in the historic downtown of Red Deer.
Jeri Lynn's paintings put forth her personal reaction to the subject by infusing light and abstracting reality. Thus encouraging the viewer to let go of discernible form and embrace her authentic reaction to the colours and movements of the paint. Her current work embodies acrylic mediums and paints, both transparent and opaque, bold complimentary colours, and line and expressive brushwork.
Jeri Lynn's work can be found in Private, Corporate and Government Agencies. Her work has been juried to the Cenovus Art Competition, Calgary Canada, The Alberta Lieutenant Governors Awards, Edmonton Canada and the National Show of the Canadian institute of Portraits, Calgary Canada.
